Is it a painfull procedure?

Prior to the procedure, Dr. Sacca will inject a small amount of local anaesthetic before inserting the suture under the skin at a depth of about five millimetres. No incisions are required as the suture is inserted with a fine needle.

What is the recovery time?

Because PDO Mono - Threads does not involve surgery or incisions, the recovery time in minimal. Most patients can return to work without missing a beat. Immediately after a treatment, the skin may be slightly bruised or swollen in places. These side effects are temporary and typically resolve themselves in a few days. Some activities, such as strenuous exercise, should be avoided or restricted for one to two weeks after the procedure.
